2008 - Negotiated Settlement For Comingled Contamination Plumes

DETAILS:

The tank removals (performed by unaffiliated firm) revealed significant contamination that required remediation, however in impartial consultant was required to help negotiate proportionality.  ANCO was able to work with both parties, and perform the cleanup, which only affected soils (totaling 350 tons) at the site.

 

 

PROJECT:

1999 – United Jewish Federation, Tank Removal

SITE:

East Orange, Essex County, NJ 07091 ANCO Project # 6194-RT

PROJECT VALUE:

$8,000

DETAILS:

ANCO performed the removal of two regulated underground oil tanks.  The combined capacity exceeded 2,000 gallons.  Post excavation soil sample collection and analysis indicated no contamination nor leakage were visible.  ANCO produced a report to the NJDEP and delisted the tanks from the state database.

 

 

PROJECT:

1994 - St. Michael’s Church, Tank Removal

4 Church Road, Netcong, Sussex County, NJ 07857 – ANCO Project #1113-RT

DETAILS:

This project was scheduled in September 1994, and involved the removal of two 7,500-gallon, one 1,000-gallon and one 2,000-gallon underground storage tanks.  Project was coordinated with Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Trapasso.  Actual site work was completed within 2 weeks.

   

PROJECT:

1994 - First Congregational Church, Tank Removal

SITE:

40 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair, Essex County, NJ 07042 – ANCO Project #1332 – RT

DETAILS:

Completed in August 1994, this project involved the removal of one 8,000-gallon underground storage tank from beneath an asphalt circular drive in front of the church.  The asphalt also was replaced by ANCO.  The project was coordinated with Susan E. Noran, President.

   

PROJECT:

1994 - Congregation B’Nai Israel, Soil And Ground Water Remediation

SITE:

Bernards Township, Somerset County, NJ – ANCO Project #1905 - RW

DETAILS:

A badly leaking underground storage tank servicing an old farm was discovered during the course of excavating footings for a new school.  ANCO performed all phases of this $85,000 soil and groundwater remediation project.

   

PROJECT:

1993 - Central Presbyterian Church, Summit, NJ Tank Removal

SITE:

70 Maple Street, Summit Union County, NJ 07901 - ANCO Project #946

DETAILS:

This project, which involved the removal of a 6,000-gallon and a 5,000-gallon underground storage tanks, was performed in April 1993.  A soil sample plan was implemented in compliance with NJDEP regulations, and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection approved ANCO’s recommendation for No Further Action at this site.  The project was coordinated with Mr. Culver Hayes, Business Manager.
